The adventures of a guy who grew up in a tipi now trying to conquer New York: a recent transplant to New York City from the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I grew up in the mountains and deserts of the southwest, where my parents taught wilderness survival. I have two art degrees and currently produce work in my apartment, but hope to find a studio again one of these days. I'm trying to embrace the city and find my own place somewhere within it while writing about my experiences along the way.

I'm one of the many women of color who are pursuers of the countless truths inherent in an array of issues. A good debate and the sharing of ideas and points of view can be intriguing as well as challenging. As a Licensed Clinical Social Work Therapist, mental health issues and related topics will also be addressed. The basic theme of this blog, however, is to provide a forum for various perspectives on the many challenging events facing us today. There is always "Another Way To View".
